Introduces electrical theory and its application to DaimlerChrysler automotive systems Emphasizes the basic principles, diagnosis, and service/repair of batteries, starting systems, starting system components, and alternators used on DaimlerChrysler automobiles. Topics include electromagnetic theory, electrical components, power sources, use of meters, application of Ohm's Law, battery diagnosis and service; current and voltage tests; inspection, diagnostic testing and replacement of starting system components, inspection; and diagnostic testing and repair or replacement of charging system components.
