Prerequisite: NURS 2030 and NURS 2040; taken concurrently with NURS 2055 This capstone course requires students to integrate advanced knowledge in management and provision of nursing care in complex adult clients. Multisystem disorders will be analyzed with an emphasis placed on clinical application and evaluation of client outcomes. Students assume increasing responsibility for self learning, prioritization and delegation of client care, and interdisciplinary collaboration under the supervision of a Registered Nurse preceptor. Advanced pharmacological and nutritional components are incorporated throughout the course.
