3 cr. LEC 3 hrs. Pre-req.: LST 140 Co-req.: LST/POL 110 The goal of this course is to allow students to gain an increased knowledge of terminology and procedures utilized in the practice of criminal law. Students have the opportunity to review definitions of criminal offenses for future research for employers. Students are given text-book reading assignments, library research tasks and writing assignments for the preparation of documents and pleadings similar to those which may be required by future employers.
