Pre-req.: MAT 051 or appropriate placement test score This is the second of a two-course sequence that satisfies the Algebra basic skills requirement and prepares students for College Algebra (MAT 131). Topics include: properties of real numbers, polynomials, rational expressions, linear equations, factoring quadratics, graphing methods, and exponential and logarithmic functions. Placement in this course is based on the Algebra placement test score.
