3 cr. LEC 3 hrs. Pre-req.: ENG 041, ENG 042 This course provides an introduction to the Law of Contracts, including the common law of contracts and the Uniform Commercial Code. Topics reviewed include: the nature of an agreement, offer; acceptance and consideration; determining, interpreting and understanding the terms of a contract; contract performance, and breach and defenses; and third party rights and remedies.
