LEC 2 hrs.; LAB 2 hrs.; Lab Fee: $25 Co-req.: GRD 121 Created for both designers and web programmers, this course teaches students how to choose file formats, optimize images for both color and size reduction and incorporate them into Web pages for cross-platform, and browser compatibility. Students learn how to turn a composite layout into table elements complete with JavaScript rollovers. Developing unique interface designs with consistent navigation and functionality is stressed. Standard image editing software and Web-specific applications are utilized.
