Prereq.: EMS 101, AHP 145 Principles of EMS Administration is a class designed to provide prehospital care professionals with the necessary tools to be effective and successful managers. The class will study basic management principles including recruitment and retention, human resources, Emergency Medical Service operations, risk management, marketing, quality improvement, and fiscal policy. This program is designed to provide the student with the leadership tools necessary to make them a more resourceful administrator.
