3 cr. LEC 3 hrs. This course introduces fundamental precepts of small group and one-on-one communication. An emphasis is placed on the application of relative theories/ strategies to train students to become better listeners, speakers, conflict managers, and decision-makers. Knowledge and skills are gained through lecture, role-play, discussion, interviews, and other interactive classroom exercises.
