This course will give students competency creating high quality documents with the Microsoft Word for Windows word processing program. Discussions will include editing, format defaults and file management. Hands-on instruction will include creating a document, saving, printing, copying and using the thesaurus and spell-check. Topics covered will include: basic mail merge procedures, envelopes and labels, tables and formulas, templates and wizards, as well as desktop publishing. Prerequisite: OFT115 or MMT101 or NET111
