This is a practical experience course providing an additional opportunity to develop skills in the areas of preventative medicine and nursing, including safety, restraint, specimen collection, and laboratory and nursing procedures. The course is offered in cooperation with the Humane Society of Central Delaware County. Students must provide their own transportation. Pre-exposure rabies vaccine is highly recommended. Prerequisites: VETS 115, VETS 120, VETS 130, VETS 140, VETS 171, VETS 180.
