This course is designed to provide students with an understanding of the legal principles related to the practice of veterinary medicine. Emphasis is placed on the principles and policies which would be important to a veterinary-practice manager's role in an animal-hospital environment or a veterinary-research environment. In addition, safety and OSHA requirements will be learned as they relate to veterinary-hospital facilities.
