Laboratory Students are taught methods of measuring, cutting, and joining steel pipe, copper tubing, plastic and cast iron soil pipe, and the knowledge and classification of fittings with emphasis on workmanship, good piping practice, and safety. The course includes basic fabrication of sheetmetal principles and layout techniques. Students will also be exposed to major construction field projects outside the laboratory.
