The trig functions of any angle are defined and applied to the solution of right triangles, oblique triangles, and vectors. Trigonometric identities and the graphs of the trig functions are studied. Each student is required to purchase and learn the efficent use of a hand-held calculator with trigonometric capabilities. Microcomputers are also used.
