This course is specifically designed for Golf Course Management (B.B.A.) Golf Professional students. This course is the first in a two course final internship sequence (GMBA 476). Students enrolled in This course are close to completing their requirements for graduation, and as such, will be given extensive faculty guidance and time to research and discuss appropriate internship sites. The reputation, location, and opportunities for advancement within a site will be emphasized with each student, as well as the importance of completing and documenting a long-term on-site project (or several smaller projects), and completing student and internship-supervisor objectives for both GMBA 475 and 476. Students will meet individually and as a group on a regular (weekly) basis with faculty prior to leaving campus for the internship.
