This course represents the third of four professional/ internship experiences (two internships and two professional work experiences) that students in the Golf Course Management (B.B.A.) programs are required to complete in order to graduate. It builds upon experiences in TURF or GMBA 181/182, GMBA 280, and upon the information learned in the classroom. This course is designed to maintain and further enhance the hands-on skills acquired during the previous work experiences, and keep students prepared for the final "capstone" internship activity of the senior year. Students will be encouraged to explore different types of facilities than they have worked in in the past in order to build a varied experience and be exposed to different maintenance and management techniques. This course will be completed at an approved site. Students must complete a minimum of 320 hours (full-time employment) to fulfill the requirements of This course. Note that most employers expect students to work from mid-May until the end of August.
