This course introduces students to proper turf and golf-course management technique, including daily expectations and proper protocol while working on a golf course. Students become familiar with the profession, relevant etiquette, and gain hands-on experience on a variety of equipment. Students will be given guidance in researching and applying to appropriate internship opportunities. This course serves to prepare students for the Golf Course Internship course (GMBA 182) which must be completed during the following summer session. Prerequisite: None Restrictions: Must be enrolled in the Golf Course Management program - Professional or Clubhouse Manager tracks.
