This course represents the first internship requirement for the Golf Course Management - Professional and Clubhouse Manager tracks. This course will be completed at a recognized intership site previously chosen in conjunction with the faculty. It builds upon the information and skills learned in the prerequisite course GMBA 181, and provides students with a unique professional educational experiance by combining theoretical and hands-on training. Students must spend a minimum of 180 hours (6 weeks) at an internship site to satisfactorily complete this requirement. HOWEVER, it should be noted that most internship cooperative sites require student interns to commit to employment from mid-May to late August. Prerequisite: GMBA 181 Restrictions: Must be enrolled in the Golf Course Management program - Professional or Clubhouse Manager tracks.
