This course encompasses the theory of operation, construction, maintenance, testing, and repair of automotive charging systems, starting systems, lighting systems, electrical accessories, automotive instrumentation, and an introduction to computer control systems. The laboratory component of the course will include various laboratory activities that follow the giudelines of the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) and the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).
