Course provides a framework for understanding international business and the legal environment within which it operates. Provides a comparative analysis of legal (general and business) systems for Western European countries. Study includes traditional commercial law topics such as rights and obligations of the buyer and seller, under contract for international sale of goods; private law of international business transactions; public law of international trade; and comparative analysis of Western European countries legal systems. Prerequisite: Permission of instructor. Credit for graduation will not be given for more than one of BLS464 or BLS 483.
