This course is an introduction to the formation and control of air pollutants, engineering theories and principles pertaining to the design of air pollution control operations, and environmental legislation pertaining to air. Solutions to environmental problems will be investigated, considering technical, economical and ethical aspects of engineering. Prerequisite: PCE 204, PCE/ MME 313, 314, and 341 or permission of the instructor.
