Content related to theories of learning, assessment of learning needs, teaching strategies, and evaluation of teaching explored in detail. Emphasizes the role of a nurse as a teacher. Employs experiential teaching strategies. Students learn to teach by experimenting with different teaching strategies, as well as by modeling techniques used by the instructor. (RN-BSN program)
