This elective course will offer the students an opportunity to work with nursing professionals, clients and families as they learn the role of the registered nurse as a member of the health care team. During this practicum, students will integrate knowledge from support courses and first year nursing as they practice therapeutic nursing interventions under the direction of a faculty member and a registered nurse mentor.
