Prepares students to provide nursing care for adults experiencing life transitions that affect health. Students are challenged to integrate prior and new knowledge using critical thinking and decision making to plan and provide nursing care for adults with common acute and chronic health problems. Emphasis on health promotion, health protection, and access to preventative services for adults. Includes a variety of settings. Prerequisite: NSG 101, 105, 106; PSY 111; ZOO 171.
