Emphasis is placed on the use of traditional media as tools of 3-dimensional analysis and synthesis in design process and representation. Includes traditional media exploration, an introduction to ways of seeing to gain visual knowledge through freehand sketching and life drawing followed by an introduction to basic orthographic, paraline, and perspective drawing principles.
