This course is an introduction to the management of health information operations. Subjects of focus will be principles of human resources; planning and budgeting; orientation training and staffing of personnel; organizing work processes including ergonomics considerations, and evaluating and improving work performance. Prerequisites: HIM 1222C, HIM 2253C, HIM 2261and INP 2002. Corequisites: HIM 2214 and HIM 2283C.
