This module was developed to teach caregivers about basic child care principles for young children based on the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and the National School-Age Care Alliance's (NASCA) developmentally appropriate practices. It is designed to give the most pertinent, useful information possible in ten hours. The curriculum focuses on how caregivers can make sure Florida's children are happy, healthy and safe while in school-age care programs. Lab fee required.
