This comprehensive, hands-on course provides an introduction to PC technology and preparation for A+ certification. After disassembling the PC, future technicians will learn how to evaluate, isolate, identify and repair common PC malfunctions. During the course, emphasis is also placed on safety, troubleshooting fundamentals, software and hardware diagnostics and developing good customer service and communication skills. Lab fee required. Corequisite: EEV 0543C.
