1 Credit, 2 Hours The Tennis I, or beginning tennis, course is designed to introduce the student to the lifetime sport of tennis. It is an introductory course which emphasis on the fundamental skills involved in playing the game: grip, footwork, forehand and backhand, ground strokes, serve, volley, net play, as well as etiquette, rules of play, equipment and basic strategy utilized in proper singles and doubles.
