4 Credits, 8.5 Hours Prerequisite: NUR 103 (if clinical calculations competency test not passed) NUR 106, NUR III, NUR 113, NUR 141, NUR 142, NUR 231, NUR 232, ENG 101, ENG 102, BIO IIO, BIO III, BIO 207, CHMIOS, PED (2), PSY 103, PSY191, PSY212 and current AHA Basic Life Support Health Care Provider certification Pre-co-requisite: PDA 101 andaPD course The nursing process is applied to meeting the needs of adult patients with multiple health problems, at least one of which is related to the need for chemical regulation and/or the cardiovascular component of gaseous transfer. Laboratory experiences are provided in the nursing laboratory and in acute care and other medical-surgical settings in the community.
