4 Credits, 8.5 Hours Prerequisite: NUR 103 (if clinical calculations competency test not passed) NUR 106, NUR III, NUR 113, NUR 141, NUR 142, NUR 231, NUR 232, ENG 101, ENG 102, BIO IIO, BIO III, BIO207, CHMIOS, PDA, 101, PED (3), PSY 103, PSY191, PSY212 and current AHA Basic Life Support Health Care Provider certification Pre-co-requisite: A 3-credit elective The nursing process is applied to meeting the needs of patients across the life span with multiple health problems. Normal physiological, psychological and social changes are considered, as well as health problems due to deviations from the normal. Laboratory experiences are provided in pediatric health care settings in the community and in the nursing laboratory. Also included is a capstone management of care experience.
