and Application 3 Credits, 3 Hours Prerequisite: FIR 101 and MAT III or permission of the Discipline Coordinator Students will examine theories of hydrostatics and hydrokinetics, velocity and discharge and water distribution systems, including: mains, hydrants, standpipes, sprinkler systems and fire hoses. Design, testing and use of fire pumps, fire appliances, fire fighting foams and foam systems are also discussed.
