4 Credits, 6 Hours Prerequisite: ELT 101 Co-requisite: ELT 116 The study of electrical fundamentals is extended to the behavior of alternating current circuits. Inductance and inductive reactance, capacitance and capacitive reactance, qualitative analysis of the AC sine wave, series and parallel RL and RC as well as RLC AC circuits are accomplished. Transformer theory, resonance and band-pass and notch filter circuits are also studied.
