3 Credits, 3 Hours This honors seminar will pursue readings in four major genres (drama, poetry, novel, short story) from Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Students will participate in seminar discussions on the required texts, prepare materials for oral presentations, write exploratory essay on literary and social issues raised in the course, and produce a seminar paper on a topic of individual research and interest.
