This is an introductory course in statistics, designed to familiarize the student with numerical and graphical data distributions; exploratory data analysis; correlation and linear regression; the normal and binomial probability distributions; confidence intervals and some hypothesis testing. (3 hours lecture). Prerequisite: MAT 125 College Algebra or MAT 110 Modeling for Decision Making or appropriate Accuplacer placement.
