Focuses on the integration of theoretical nursing concepts, theories, and principles based on medical-surgical nursing to provide care to acutely ill clients with complex health deviations. An emphasis is placed on nursing process, legal/ethical, teaching and communication in the management of complex care throughout the course. Nursing care of clients with selected physiologic health deviations in traumatic injury and critical care will be addressed. The roles and responsibilities of the registered professional nurse are incorporated in the delivery of care. Prerequisites: NUR 201 and NUR 202 Corequisites: NUR 204 and NUR 206 Offered: Spring
