Provides students with the concepts and skills necessary for further study in Elementary Algebra, or in a general education mathematics course, Applied Mathematics, or in Fundamentals of Mathematics for Nursing. Topics include the four basic arithmetic operations as applied to whole numbers, fractions, decimals, metric conversions and rational problem solving. The concepts and skills of MA 90 are introduced through lecture and individualized instruction, utilizing computerized, programmed materials. (Credits do not apply toward graduation.) Prerequisite: College Placement Test Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer
