Is available to a limited number of qualified students interested in demonstrating competence in a communications media career. Students work nine hours per week in a community broadcast or publications medium, either on-site or on-assignment, and are supervised by a responsible member of the medium's staff, as well as by the SCC journalism instructor. The application procedure and forms are available from the journalism instructor. Prerequisites: ENG 232, ENG 242 and written permission from Assistant Dean of Academic Services Offered: Varies
