Uses the computer as a tool to manipulate and edit raster graphics, otherwise known as digital images. Photoshop and ImageReady, tools in the Adobe Creative Suite which imitate traditional photographic techniques, are used. Students also learn to use digital cameras and prepare images for use on the World Wide Web. No prior photography experience is necessary. Prerequisites: Completion of ENG 98, if required, and CGA 101 or written permission of instructor Offered: Fall, Spring
