u (3 Credits--3 Hours) Prerequisite: ENC 1101 with a grade of "C" or higher, and satisfactorycompletion of REA 0002, Reading and Study Skills, or an appropriate reading placement score. The course focuses on the Ancient through the Medieval periods of culture and history. It is designed to acquaint the student with literature, philosophy, art, and music in the Prehistoric, Classical, and Medieval periods. Major emphasis is upon understanding and appreciation of cultural heritage. HUM 2210 is a Gordon Rule writing course as defined by SBE Rule 6A-10.030.
