For some teachers with professional certification, it may also be an appropriate course for recertification. Prerequisite: Completion of ENC 1101 with a grade of "C" or higher. Asurvey of social values, issues, and institutions in relation to American education. Major areas include the historical, sociological, legal, ethical, and philosophical foundations of present day education.
