(3 Credits--4 Hours) Prerequisite: CGS1060 with a grade of "C" or higher. This course providesstudents with the knowledge needed to support users of personal computers in an organization. It focuses on the hardware dimension. Students are taught the skills needed to service, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair computer hardware and peripherals. Lab work includes hands on disassembly, diagnosis and repair, and reassembly of personal computers. This course prepares students for the CompTIA A+ hardware certification.
