(3 Credits--4 Hours) Prerequisite: CET2660 Network Security Essentials with a grade of "C"or higher. This course provides the knowledge needed to support the information security requirements for an organization. The course focuses on installing and managing firewalls and intrusion detection systems. The importance of implementing a strong security policy with the latest information technology is stressed. Students get hands-on practice installing proxy servers, firewalls and virtual private networks (VPNs).
