u (3 Credits-6 Hours) Prerequisite: PGY 2420C. This course integrates 21st century technology with 19th century craft. The student explores a variety of non-silver photographic imaging processes such as platinum/palladium, iron salt and cyanotype. Techniques include mixing emulsions, hand coating, paper selection, development variables and strategies for making traditional and digitally enlarged negatives. An exit grade of "C" or higher isrequired.
