9 (3 Credits--3 Hours) Prerequisite: COP 2800 with a grade of "C" or higher. This is a hands-on advanced object-oriented programming course focused on object-oriented software design and Unified Modeling Language class diagram notation. Topics include inheritance, multiple inheritance, interfaces, polymorphism, graphical user interfaces, Applets, and the use of existing classes as provided in the current version of the Java API. Students will develop object-oriented software throughout the semester.
