CSU Prerequisite: None. Limitation on enrollment: Acceptance into the Physician Assistant Program. This course is designed to meet the state and national accreditation requirements for an approved Physician Assistant program. The student will learn basic clinical skills applicable to the clinical environment including interpretation and theory of body fluids and tissue and their implications in arriving at preliminary diagnosis. Topics include clinical biochemistry, hematology and urinalysis. 27 hours lecture and 27 hours laboratory.
