CSU Prerequisite: None. Limitation on enrollment: Advanced standing in the Physician Assistant Program including completion of all first year courses. Designed to meet the state and national accreditation requirements for an approved Physician Assistant program. Students are assigned to the Department of Psychiatry and Mental Health where, under supervision, they participate in a variety of patient care activities. Students perform psychiatric interviews and mental status examinations and participate in discussions and formulation of therapeutic plans. 224 hours laboratory
