PHO 20 - Introduction to Digital Still Photography

CSU Prerequisite: None. Introduces students to electronic still photography and digital imagery. Students will learn how to create photography quality images without use of the traditional photographic wet lab. Students use state of the art computers, digital cameras, professional grade negative and flat bed scanners and a digital printer to produce photo-grade prints. Software utilized includes Adobe PhotoShop, Photoenhancer Ofoto and others. May be taken a total of four times. 27 hours lecture and 81 hours laboratory.
