Prerequisite: None. Limitation on enrollment: Completion of or concurrent enrollment in a Vocational or Registered Nursing Program. Reviews the major classes of medications used in communitybased settings that provide primary, secondary and tertiary levels of healthcare. Focusing on the applications to clinical nursing practice, discusses the pharmacology, dosage administration and adverse effects of these medications.
