Prerequisite: MAN-52. This is an advanced course in the computer-aided manufacture of 3-dimensional parts and assemblies, using various Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software packages. This course will focus on the application of Computer Numerical Control (CNC) programming of turning centers and milling operations. Students will have the opportunity to fabricate complex parts by programming computer interfaces, which will in turn control machining operations. May be taken a total of two times. 54 hours lecture and 54 hours laboratory.
