Prerequisite: None. A course in the fundamentals of manufacturing for technicians. This course introduces basic safety, measurement, metal forming and stamping. Machine operation of presses, brakes and other metal forming equipment will be introduced as well as an introduction to tool protection, die lubrication and troubleshooting machine processes are covered. 36 hours lecture.
